Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Well, it finally happened. Someone at The Grammys screwed their head on right and FINALLY gave Beyoncé Album of the Year. She was absolutely robbed for not winning it for Lemonade, but better late than never and all that.
And she just announced her Cowboy Carter tour.
She is the moment. And always has been.
Congrats Ms Carter!
Things that caught my eye this week
‘I knew one day I’d have to watch powerful men burn the world down, I just didn’t expect them all to be such losers.’ Never has a headline drawn me to it, like a moth to a flame, with such power as this one. Because MOTHERFUCKING THIS! One thousand times over. The level of cringe I am experiencing watching Musk and Zuckerberg, in particular, is off the goddamn charts at this point. My skin is crawling. Like, ugh. Just…WHY?!
I was talking to a friend the other day about how men tend to just worship other men with money and how much that gives me the cringe too. Musk and Zuckerberg are cringe enough, but watching how other men around them get all googly-eyed and cow tow to them. LIKE, I LITERALLY CANNOT. Ugh, I have to stop typing…even thinking about all this is sending me over the edge.
Food for thought
In those quiet moments, when doubt is coursing through your veins so strongly you can feel it pulse, breathe. Plant your feet. Close your eyes. Remind yourself what it took for you to get here, the versions of yourself you had to shed, the battles you’ve fought and won. Remember the work you’ve put in, what you’ve built. None of this was luck. You deserve to be here. Take up space. Chin up, chest out. Go get ‘em.
You should upgrade to the paid version of The Murmuration because…
In Monday’s letter, I’m talking about the mid-life pivot. It’s something we need to normalise - when so much about us is changing when we come into our 40s, it’s ok for the way you’ve been living to all of a sudden, not feel aligned. So, if you’ve been feeling the urge to go in different directions, try new things - maybe it’s not a case of shrugging it off and concluding ‘I’m too old to try something new’ and more a case of allowing yourself to follow where your gut is leading you.

Your Weekly Biggie Smalls (p)Update
This week, Biggie wants to remind you that it’s OK if you feel like you haven’t kicked the door to 2025 down and swung into action just yet. It’s still winter. If you’re still cocooned and moving slowly, honour that. If you tend to jump into action when Spring hits, that’s your rhythm and you don’t need to subscribe to the hustle bustle if that doesn’t feel right for you. Listen to Biggie - he’s usually right.
Until next week; smile at strangers, spread good vibes, be nice to people.
