Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with THEE Tracy Chapman.
Chapman hit the stage at The Grammys this past weekend - after barely performing publicly over the last decade - to perform her hit ‘Fast Car’ alongside country star, Luke Combs.
It’s a beautiful performance and man, there’s something about the way she smiles as she’s playing those opening bars and hears the crowd absolutely lose their shit that just hits you right in the heart. I’m so glad she was able to feel the love everyone there had for her and is hopefully feeling even more of it as the love continues online and in sales of the track.
You can watch the performance here.
Group coaching is BACK
I’m running my 30 day personal development coaching in March and you should totally get in on the action. This is a 30 day incubator where you will boost your self-belief, build healthy habits and get consistent in taking the actions you need to step into the life you want. This is powerful work, friend and when it’s done in a group of life-minded women who give you the support, community, motivation and connection you’ve been looking for, WHEW, it will SUPERCHARGE YOUR LIFE!
Here’s what someone who did my January group had to say:
It is just £40 / $68 for the 30 days. If you have things you want to achieve this year, truly, this group is an excellent way to lay the foundation that sets you up for success.
Things that caught my eye this week
I was raised very Catholic. I stopped going to church long ago and am not entirely sure where I stand on my belief in God at the moment. But over the last few years, I have, on occasion, found myself really missing church. There is much to trash the Catholic church over, I know, but the rituals, the community, the aesthetic - there is something deeply comforting and familiar about all that for me.
This article about secular congregations in the States really caught my eye. It’s how people are finding a way to congregate and celebrate but leaving the God aspect out of it. I find it super interesting. As we all seem to be lamenting lack of community and increased loneliness and isolation as our devices take over, I wonder if we’ll see more of these kinds of congregations appear to help us connect.
Food for thought
If you are being pushed to your edge, if life’s circumstances right now are taking you right to the brink and it’s taking everything in you not to topple, I hope you find the courage to take a breath and steady your nerve. I hope you find your footing and can balance yourself long enough for the storm to pass. Because it will pass. It always does. Close your eyes. Breathe. Picture the life you’re aiming for - with each breath, the picture gets clearer. You’re on your way. Just hold your nerve.
You should upgrade to the paid edition of The Murmuration because…
On Monday’s paid edition of the letter, I’m talking about reframing habits from a chore to a lifestyle. When we’re taking on something new, finding a way to integrate it into our lives that doesn’t grate is really tough in the beginning and it’s why many people don’t get beyond that initial gritty stage. On Monday, I’m talking about how to overcome that hurdle and get to the point that your new habit feels like plain sailing.

Your weekly Biggie Smalls (P)update
This week, Biggie would like to remind you that sometimes you have to bring out your ‘I’d like to speak to the manager’ paw and make your voice heard, stand up for yourself, say what you need to say.
Until next week; smile at strangers, spread good vibes, be nice to people.
