Happy Thursday, ya beauties.
We kick off this week with Ms Angela Bassett and THIS absolute slayage of a photoshoot. A murder. A homicide, I tell you. Quite frankly, how dare she do this to us? She just casually assassinated us like this at the age of SIXTY THREE. Yes, you read that right. A goddess. An icon. I have nothing more to add. Just…take it all in.

Things that caught my eye this week
If you, like me, love a good book recommendation and have a ‘books I want to read’ list as long as your arm, then hey, I found us some more we can add to the list! This handy little list of short novels has a few on there I really like the sound of. I find opting for shorter novels in between digesting meatier ones is a good way to keep me in my reading habit.
And of course, feel free to comment with anything good you’ve read lately that you’d recommend so I can continue to add to my list and hope I get round to reading all of them in my lifetime.
Food for thought
The thing you’ve been putting off, it’s time to do it.
Those clothes on the chair in your bedroom? (We all have that) Hang them up, fold them, put them in the laundry, whatever it is, just get them off the damn chair already!
The text you’ve been meaning to send, the call you’ve been avoiding making, doing your taxes, organising your papers, how grubby are you gonna let your mirror get before you clean it? Cancel the membership to the thing you never use. Book that dentist appointment. Get your pap smear done. Pay that bill.
Make a list, tick ‘em off. Feel satisfied.
Today’s the day to make life admin your bitch.
