Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with Nicole Ari Parker, because…well, have you see her? Jesus. Stunning. STU. NNING.
While the Sex and the City reboot ‘And Just Like That’ is…well, man, listen…I don’t know…it’s something, but one thing that doesn’t disappoint week to week is Ms Parker’s wardrobe. She is serving, every damn week, fine dining, Michelin stars. Truly, a sensational showing of style and flair. Immaculate. I love it. Flowers for you, Ms Parker. Thou art outstanding.
Things that caught my eye this week
As someone who has spent my career in fitness championing inclusivity and diversity, this article on The Relentless Reality of Anti-Fatness in Fitness is a must read. If you either work within the space or have always felt excluded from fitness spaces due to your size, you will find yourself nodding your head off in agreement reading this piece.
Food for thought
Your hair looks gorgeous today; the body, the bounce, the sheen - gorg. Those pants are hugging you in all the right places and if no one’s said it yet, your ass looks great. Is it a new skincare regime or are is there just glitter pumping through your veins cause guuurrrllll, you’re glowing. You look hydrated, you look expensive, you look unbothered by life’s pettiness.
Whatever it is you’re doing, keep it up, bottle it, sell that shit, the world needs your shine, babes.
You should subscribe to the paid version of The Murmuration because…
On Monday’s paid version of the letter, I’m talking about why it’s good to be obsessed with your thing and why you should never hold back your enthusiasm for it, dedication to it. As someone who is particularly obsessed with what I do, I can tell you, it’s a trait that has a tendency to rub some the wrong way. So if you’ve ever felt like you have to shrink your love for your passion to make it more palatable for people, you’re gonna want to read Monday’s letter.
AND DON’T FORGET, paid subscribers now get an additional email each week - an audio pep talk that lands in your inbox on Wednesdays. So, if you find yourself flagging mid-week and need a lil boost, upgrade to a paid subscription and let my pep talks help you rise up!
