Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with Julia Roberts.
It feels like the whole world (or at least the entire internet) has been watching Leave The World Behind (Netflix’s latest blockbuster) this week. Full disclosure, I started watching it a couple of nights ago, but fell asleep part way through (not a reflection on the film, just a particularly knackering day on my part. Though, I will say, the music in the film was STRESSING ME OUT - did anyone else find that?!)
But before I fell asleep, I was reminded what a badass Julia Roberts is. Goddamn, she’s good. Since I’ve only made it half way through, at this point, her character is pretty annoying but she, the actress? Sublime. She’s just one of those actresses that you know you’re in for quality with whenever she’s on screen.
Also, it’s always refreshing to see an actress who seems to be ageing naturally. It’s really nice to see the fine lines on her face, to see real emotion being played out, rather than struggling to bust through botox. Like a fine wine, I tell ya, a forever beauty.
Bangs Kick Start Accountability Group
I’m running a 30 day life coaching group program in January.
The Bangs Kick Start Accountability Group is designed to to get you on track and into a good rhythm to kick start the new year. We’ll be establishing a foundation of healthy habits that combine movement and mindset. Conducted through email and a WhatsApp group, you’ll receive daily motivation, encouragement and accountability.
There will be tasks in the form of goal setting, journaling and movement practices - in a group of likeminded women, all on their own mission to better themselves and provide an awesome support network.
Sticking to the commitments you make to yourself is so much easier when it’s nurtured within this kind of incubator that protects your purpose, amplifies your determination and sky rockets your sense of discipline.
This is my most affordable offering yet at just £40 / $68 for the 30 days.

Things that caught my eye this week
I preach this til the cows come home but this article from Men’s Health sums up in such a great way, the 5 Fitness Pillars to Stay in Shape Your Entire Life.
Truly, I love it. It’s an approach, a state of mind, a lifestyle - there’s no quick fixes, but these tips are honestly so doable. I really hope we start speaking about fitness more in these terms; to train for performance, to just move your body somehow every day, to seek simplicity and proximity. I talk all the time about how I’m training for my old lady body. Long live performance over aesthetics messaging!
Food for Thought
As the year winds down and we look forward to the next, remember that January 1st isn’t some magical do-over date. Nothing changes unless we do. Intention is wonderful, but it must be followed by action. How can you start to create the right climate right now, for the action you need to take to see your intention come to life? What behaviours do you need to leave behind? What habits do you need to adopt? How do you need to curate your circle to ensure you can reach your goals?
And what’s stopping you from starting that process right now?
