Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with Jasmin Paris who, a couple of weeks ago, became the first woman to ever finish the Barkley Marathon - a gruelling 100 mile course in Tennessee. I highly recommend reading this article to fully grasp what an incredible feat this is because EEERRRMMAAAGEERRDDDD, this woman is a goddamn superhero. I read about this and was like I AM WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR! She’s 40, she has two kids and a career and was fitting in an insane amount of training to prepare for this. Just….wow. Truly incredible.
Thank you for reminding us what we’re capable of.
Things That Caught My Eye This Week
Season 2 of the wonderful podcast, Wiser Than Me is out now and I cannot recommend this podcast enough. Hosted by the always hilarious Julia Louis-Dreyfus, she interviews older women about life, love, career, family and everything in between. These conversations are so intimate and eye opening. It’s so rare that women of this older age group are given the stage and their wisdom is so necessary to hear. So, if you’re looking for a new podcast to listen to, you won’t regret listening to this one.
Food For Thought
Part of the reason for the storm is not to take you under. It’s to teach you balance - can you hold steady when all around you is blowing wildly in the gales? It’s to test your navigation - can you maintain your direction when it seems your path is being torn apart? It’s to improve your vision - because if everything disappears, can you visualise how to rebuild?
So, while it may well be turbulent, maybe it’s just The Universe taking you to school.

Your Weekly Biggie Smalls (P)update
This week Biggie would like to remind you to be patient. Worrying about the how’s when’s and why’s is wasted energy. Things will happen when they need to. If you’ve done all you can do on your end, patience is really your only option.
Until next week; smile at strangers, spread good vibes, be nice to people.
