Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with MacKenzie Scott, ex wife of that Amazon fella, Jeff Bezos. Scott was married to Bezos for almost 25 years and she left him in 2019 with $38.3 billion in Amazon stock - one of those numbers that is kinda incomprehensible.
I’m anti-billionaire, but I love a billionaire who seems intent on giving their fortune away, which is what Scott seems to be doing. So far she’s given way over $640 million, mostly to extreme left-wing causes like immigration and LGBTQ+ organisations.
Great start MacKenzie! We salute it! And this is how it should be - what is pocket change to her is life changing for these organisations, with the added bonus of likely pissing off her ex husband a lot. Beautiful!
Things that caught my eye this week
I tend to get the rage when I hear about how few medical studies actually include women. And while I like that more research is being done into the links between periods and mental health, finding out that it was just last year that they started testing the capacity of menstrual products with real blood has made me need to have a lie down.
Food For Thought
There is no right time. There is only time. And you choose what you do with it. So stop using time as the nightstand upon which you rest your excuses. It will pass either way. You can either wait for this magical set of perfect circumstances you imagine, or you can just do what you can, with what you have, right now. ‘Cause the one thing about time is, you never get it back.

Your Weekly Biggie Smalls (P)update
This week, Biggie would like to remind you that oftentimes women are taught to suppress our anger and holding these things in never bodes well. So, find a way to vent, process and figure out your tough stuff. Ignoring it doesn’t make it go away.
Until next week; smile at strangers, spread good vibes, be nice to people.
