Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with Zendaya. Until we get that next season of Euphoria, we’ll have to make do with her red carpet slays and other projects. I enjoyed this ELLE feature about her. Anytime a child Disney star grows up, does super interesting projects and manages to stay relatively sane, I think that’s a feat to be celebrated. She seems to have navigated that bridge from child star to serious actor with an ease many her age couldn’t.
Things that caught my eye this week
As someone who really struggles to remember people’s names, I really enjoyed this Ted Talk about the memory and simple hacks you can use to improve it. I’m gonna be putting this into practice for sure.
Food for thought
Search for the joy. It’s there. Even in the darkest moments. It shows up in ways that are nudging you to pay attention; your dog resting his head on your thigh, the smell of the air before a big rainfall, a couple completely lost in each other, kissing on the street, that song that moves its rhythm all the way through your body. It’s there. And if you pay attention, it’s enough to make you pause. And smile. And remember. Isn’t it beautiful that life is made up of a billion of those little moments, that you can stitch up like a quilt and wrap yourself up in?

Your weekly Biggie Smalls (p)Update
This week, Biggie wants to remind you to smile more. Put on your favourite sitcom, call a friend and reminisce on that thing that made you both belly laugh that one time you went to that club, smile at a stranger just for the hell of it. Biggie assures me, it’s an instant mood booster.
Help me start my online fitness studio!
Last week, I finally made the decision to take the leap and start my own online fitness studio. Enough people have asked me over the years to do online spin classes and this really feels like the right time for me to do it.
I started a GoFundMe last week and the support has been incredible. I hit my target a couple of days ago, but I’m keeping the GoFundMe open til tomorrow. If you feel compelled to support, I would so appreciate it. All funds are being used to get the equipment to set up this initial phase of the studio.
I am so excited to bring this to you. Huge thank you in advance for your support and I can’t wait to ride bikes with you!
Until next week; smile at strangers, spread good vibes, be nice to people.
