Happy Thursday, ya beauties!
Kicking it off this week with EXCUSE THE HELL OUT OF ME - AN AMY WINEHOUSE BIOPIC IS IN THE WORKS PEOPLE! It started filming this week in London apparently, so it’ll be a while til we see it, but…it’s happening. Marisa Abela, who plays Yasmin in Industry, is playing Winehouse. Judging by her work on that show, she is a rising star indeed, so I’m super intrigued to see how she does playing the songstress. I am a huge Amy fan (I interviewed her way back in my music journalist days) and truly feel she should be ranked as one of the greats. I sincerely hope this biopic does her and her talent justice.
Things that caught my eye this week
I had a lil rant on my Instagram stories the other day about how tipping culture has gone absolutely looney tunes in North America in recent times. I’m fine with tipping at restaurants but more and more, it seems like no matter what the shop or service, you are faced with a tipping option when you go to pay for something these days. Anyhoo, this article on the tipping madness raises some interesting points.
“…modern tipping’s awkwardness comes less from our desire to compensate for service and much more from the fact that the practice sits at the centre of a very complicated cultural, socioeconomic and political Venn diagram. People who work service jobs are exhausted, frequently exploited, often underpaid and caught in a precarious, damaged industry model.”
Food For Thought
That chore you’re putting off is gonna take you way less time than you think it is and you’ll feel oh so much better when it’s done. Go do the damn thing.

Your Weekly Biggie Smalls (P)update
This week, Biggie would like to remind you to gas up your friends. Tell them how great their outfit is, be their biggest cheerleader, encourage them, support them, listen to them, be there. Gaze at them lovingly while they take mirror selfies. Always be working on your bestie skills.
New Coaching Offerings
I’m really excited to be introducing two new life coaching offerings in my business. In conversation with my clients, two pain points come up frequently; feeling stuck and lacking consistency. So, I’ve created two new programs to tackle these. specific issues. Get Unstuck will help you unlock the negative narratives that are holding you back, break down those barriers, get you leaning into your strengths and creating an action plan that will get you excited about moving forward. Find Your Consistency will make you fall in love with the ritual of committing to yourself and your goals and give you a step by step guide on how to stick to your habits. You’ll emerge from that program a consistency Queen! Each program is three sessions and very competitively priced.
