The Parents vs Non-Parents Battle

When will it ever end?

The number of parents pissed off and confused about people opting not to have kids seems to be growing. The online discourse has a new ridiculous hot take from parents taking jabs at child-free folks almost daily and it continues to baffle me.

Take, for example GShaneMorris on Twitter who said recently:

“Millennials who are very cavalier about not having children are in for a shock when they enter their 40s and realise life is only half over. What do you do at that point? Keep trying to be sexy and have fun? I expect to see a lot of sadness and confusion about what to do at that point.”

Chelsea Handler posted a great response to this on Instagram. To answer his question: whatever the hell we want, Shane! That’s what we do. At 41 with no kids, I love that I can do literally whatever I want, every single day of my life. I’ve designed my life to be just that.
