The cost of being single

Yowza! It's pricey!

TLDR - it’s expensive!

I mean, I’m no maths wizz, by any stretch of the imagination, but as a surprise to absolutely no one, it turns out, when you have to fund everything yourself, rather than splitting the cost with someone, it’s pricey!

It’s not just the big stuff. Obviously, rent can be crippling in and of itself. Holidays, well, extra saving has to be done to afford those solo hotel rooms. Every single bill being your responsibility - your pay cheque has to stretch a long way when you can’t rely on someone chipping in. I’ll refrain from bemoaning my weekly grocery bill here but SWEET BABY JESUS.
