I started blogging in 2007. I shared much of my life online. A realisation I came to recently (which is shockingly late, really) is that I have a tendency to overshare, in my desire to form deep connections.
I have been making a conscious effort to curb that in my personal life of late, but it’s hard to un-ring that bell in the online world.
I deleted my blog about four years ago, in favour of this Substack. But many people who followed my blog, also followed me on my various social media channels.
I wouldn’t say I was a particularly controversial blogger, but did I have some dumb ass opinions in my 20s and 30s that don’t really ring true for me now? Of frikkin’ course.
