Last week, I returned from my much anticipated holiday back to the UK.
I moved to Canada right at the start of the pandemic, when London was in a very strict lockdown. I remember driving to the airport through empty streets, arriving at a ghost town-y looking Heathrow.
It wasn’t exactly the way I’d pictured saying goodbye to my life there.
