Jamie Lee Curtis plays her mother, in a performance that can only really be described as phenomenal. I wept my way through the whole episode. The mother-daughter connection, the layers of emotion mixed in with medical drama. As an observer, you felt this episode in your bones; all the tension, all the anger, the fear, the joy.

Because of Jamie Lee Curtis’s wrinkles.
