If you’re reading this, you’re likely 35+. If you’re feeling the rumblings of discontent, maybe it’s a little early to call it a mid-life crisis, but you might well have the urge for something to shift. This is especially likely if you’ve the last 15-20 years of your life ticking boxes, following the rules and doing all the things expected of you. No wonder you’re itching for a change.
But how do we figure out what we want to change?
It involves sitting down and asking yourself some tough questions.
Change is difficult. It’s unsettling. When you really take time to delve into what areas of your life need a reboot, those truths can be brutal when they hit. You might discover you want to move countries, change career or that some friendships have sadly run their course.
Identify what area(s) of your life you want to change.
I find it helps to break your life down into categories, for example personal, health, career, finances, mental/emotional (create your own categories that feel most relevant for your life).
